About: Anise essential oil has a warm, sweet scent, much like the smell of licorice candy. Highly valued by ancient cultures for digestive support, today this herb is often found in toothpastes and mouthwashes. Anise essential oil is wonderfully potent: it should always be diluted and used with caution.
Common Uses: To support healthy digestion after meals, apply a dilution of 2.4% Anise in carrier oil to the abdomen. This dilution may also be applied to the chest to promote respiratory health.
Blending Recommendations: Lemon, Sweet Orange, Distilled Lime, Bergamot, Rosemary cineole, Rosemary verbenone, Lavender, Clary Sage, Sweet Marjoram, Basil, Sandalwood.
Safety Information: Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have or have had endometriosis or estrogen-dependent cancers.
Do not use with children under 10 years old.
Maximum dermal dilution: 2.4% or or 21 drops in a 1 fl.oz. bottle of carrier oil.

Shelf Life: 4 years in proper conditions before quality declines.
