• Each ounce of this herb will yield about 4 TBS . If you are going to drink this tea on an ongoing basis, say 1 cup each day for 1 month, and if you use about 1 TBS of root per cup of water, you will need about 8 ounces of this root to last the month. 
• Simmer 10-15 minutes with lid on. Strain and enjoy.

Natural herbs come in all forms and many share the same properties of other herbs. The Mohonia aquifolium, or Oregon Grape Root for example, has many of the same properties as Goldenseal and Barberry.

These herbs are found on the west coast of North America, and are cultivated elsewhere for its ornamental qualities. They grow quickly reaching a height of six feet, while sprouting yellowish-green flowers and purple berries.
