About: Cistus has a beautiful, unique scent that is resinous, green and earthy; it is often blended into men’s scents, alluring perfumes, and skin care products. Also known as Rock Rose, the essential oil is steam-distilled from the plant’s small white and yellow flowers.

Blending Recommendations: Cistus is resinous and earthy with a scent unlike any other essential oil. The scent intensifies when warmed on the skin, so use a small amount in blending. Cistus is a fixative, causing scents to stay longer after application.
