About: Lavender is the most popular of all essential oils with its clean, fresh, floral scent and numerous uses. The oil has been used for thousands of years for skin care, calming the mind, cleaning, and pure enjoyment. Lavender is a ‘must have’ for beginner essential oil users and a staple in all starter kits and first-aid kits. “When in doubt try Lavender” is a saying among aromatherapists due to the oil’s gentle soothing and healing benefits on the skin, as well as its deeply calming scent.

Pranarom’s Lavender essential oil is from farms in the French Alps where the scented purple flowers are cultivated in neat, long rows against the backdrop of the mountains. While Lavender grows all over the world, the French Alps are known for producing the world’s best Lavender essential oil. The finest Lavender available is grown at the highest altitudes and is produced in limited quantities; we sell this oil as Lavender Reserve.

How to use: Diffuse 3-4 drops of Lavender before bed to help prepare for sleep or during the day to promote relaxation. For skincare, blend a few drops of lavender with your favorite moisturizer to promote clear, calm skin. For blemishes, minor burns, bruises and abrasions, apply a drop of Lavender on the area neat.

For minor burns and after-sun care, mix 8 drops Helichrysum and 20 drops Lavender into water, aloe vera or hydrosol then apply to affected area multiple times a day. Combine ingredients in a bottle with a misting cap and store in the refrigerator, then mist onto the skin for cooling relief.

For topical application, Lavender can be used undiluted. For general use, however, we recommend a dilution rate of 1-7%.

Blending Recommendations: Lavender’s clean floral scent works with almost any blend and can be paired with any essential oil. Our favorite essential oils to blend with Lavender are:

Bergamot, Chamomile (all varieties), Clary Sage, Coriander, Frankincense, Rose Geranium, Grapefruit, Helichrysum, Jasmine Absolute, Lavender Absolute, Lemon, Lemongrass, Neroli, Sweet Orange, Patchouli, Peppermint, Rose Absolute, Rose Otto, Rosemary Verbenone, Sandalwood, Tea Tree, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang.

    Safety Information:

The lavender smell was more chemically than what i was expecting. Does not smell like pure lavender essential oil.
