Products are crafted of this extremely hard and durable wood are known for their beautiful warm and rich colors and interesting patterns throughout the wood grain. Olive wood is farmed from the trees Olea europaea which has a long history of cultivation. The Olea europaea tree became commercially cultivated in the territories of Crete and ancient Syria more than five thousand years ago The oldest certified olive tree is aged 2,000 years. It is located in Greece, and it still bears fruit!
