Still the same botanical name - Citrus paradisii - and the same package but open the bottle and you'll find a brilliantly vibrant oil of red grapefruit. Grown for us in the fertile Yaqui Valley, this beautifully bright, fresh, and aromatic oil offers a positive emotional lift while tackling odor causing bacteria.

About: Grapefruit essential oil has a bright, citrus-sweet aroma that is uplifting and purifying. Diffusing this oil promotes clean, fresh air, while a couple drops in your cleaning products can aid in keeping surfaces clean. The oil may also promote circulation and the appearance of tighter, smoother skin when applied in a salt scrub or with dry brushing. Always dilute at less than 1% for topical use to avoid a photosensitive reaction.

Blending Recommendations: Grapefruit has a bright, sweet, fresh and fruity aroma that is a joy to blend as it pairs well with many other essential oils.

Safety Information:

Phototoxic: avoid direct sunlight and sun beds for 12 hours after topical application.
