Sweet Almond Oil

Our Sweet Almond Oil is expeller pressed from the dried kernel of the almond tree (Prunus dulcis), and then refined. It has a subtle toasted almond aroma and flavor.

Vegetable oils are healthful and flavorful and provide many essential nutrients to the body, and they make a healthy and nourishing addition to body care products and a flavorful addition to culinary dishes and baked goods.

  • The Organic Sweet Almond Oil is relatively stable when exposed to medium-high temperatures, and can be used as a substitute for olive oil, and also typically used as an ingredient in salad dressings, baked goods, and desserts.
  • The Refined Sweet Almond Oils has a high smoke point, and can be used in sautéing and stir-frying food, for salad dressings, sauces, and baked goods.
  • Sweet Almond Oil is considered a light-weight oil and is easily absorbed into the skin, making it a popular carrier oil.
  • Often used as an ingredient in body and skin care products and soaps because of its stable properties and lathering capabilities.
  • It has moisturizing, emollient, and lubricating qualities, and is excellent for bath and after-shower applications, and frequently used in massage oils.

Ingredients:

Sweet Almond Oil: Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Refined.

Allergen: FOR ORGANIC SWEET ALMOND OIL (UNREFINED): Contains Tree Nuts (Almond). Because this oil is virgin and not refined, the nut protein may not be removed from the oil that can cause the tree nut allergy.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, and avoid direct sunlight and heat. Preserving Oils: If stored improperly for long periods of time, the oils may become rancid. They have a minimum 2 year shelf life when stored properly. When making products with vegetable oils, you can also add 2% Vitamin E Oil to act as a natural preservative.
